Alfagems Co. Ltd is a registered non-profit company founded in 2003, whose Headquarters are in Morogoro town, Kilakala ward, Kilakala Road (P.O.Box 6083 - Morogoro). Over the last decade, Alfagems has been heavily involved in the education, healthcare and investment sectors. Today the Company manages one Dispensary and one of the most frequented Private Secondary Schools in Tanzania, providing education to more than 4400 students. The homonymous Secondary School “Alfagems”, aims at providing education and secondary instruction to whom cannot afford the fees imposed today by other private schools in Tanzania.

Kiswila believes that the highest value lies within its people, their entrepreneurial character, technical skills and values, and within the people Kiswila serves.

Our team is made up of not only highly skilled professional figures such as geologists, engineers, phycists, professors and educators but also by highly experienced managers.

ABOUT KISWILA

Vincenzo Ciccarelli
Founder and CEO

The Diocese of Morogoro represents the Catholic Church at a capillary level in the Morogoro Region. Through its highest representative, Bishop Rt. Rev. Telesphore Mkude, member of the college of the bishops under the pope of Rome, the Diocese is highly involved also in humanitarian activities, such as healthcare (nurseries, dispensaries, hospitals) and education (from primary schools up to university level). Its fundamental structures are the parishes widely spread across the Region. It is their effort to reach the goal of self-reliance also in economic matters, despite the difficulties that characterize the areas in which they operate.

Driven by a highly experienced Managing Director (Dr. Vincenzo Achille Ciccarelli) with over 30 years experience in start-ups and management.

Vincenzo is a physicist who graduated at the University of Rome "La Sapienza".  He started his career as a technical manager within Telettra SpA, where he was responsible for the development of base software for TLC, Tele-metering and Remote Control, SCADA systems and applications. He then moved to Telespazio SpA, where he was in charge of different units, such as the Remote Sensing system development unit, where he coordinated a team of 100 people, the business development among USA, Europe and Africa, with the release of three patents in the field of space technology. In Telespazio he was also responsible for the promotion of innovative missions, particularly as for the new generation of satellite constellations for TLC (Iridium, Teledesic, Astrolink) and for Earth Observation, which he led as Program Manager, before being appointed Managing Director of Politel S.A., a joint venture with the mission of providing telecommunication, domestic and international services, both terrestrial and satellite based, in Eastern Europe.

Throughout his career he covered also the positions of executive director (Interconsult srl), senior consultant (Galileian Plus) and senior marketing manager (Telespazio SpA) and was actively involved in pro-bono and humanitarian activities also in collaboration with FAO of the UN, Telespazio and Telecom Italia.

 In 1999 he was conferred the title “Cavaliere del Lavoro” (“Knight of the work”) by the President of the Republic of Italy.
